ART & CRAFTS       

Art Gallery:  Hardly a day goes by that we don't need some artistic talent somewhere in OPC.  One special event for Artists in the Juried Art show in the park - Art & Apples.  we need help to organize getting the art to the park and also staffing our tent for the two day event.

Attic Sale:  Once a year OPC gives everyone the opportunity to clean up your space and we have a gigantic sale.  we are looking for people who love to organize the items for sale and also willing volunteers to staff the sale.

Crafters:  WOW!  This one small area of volunteering could include several volumes of description.  you crafters out there all know that already.  But for a novice some of the areas would include knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, creating, painting, flower arranging, wreath making and the list goes on!  Suffice it to say, "if you like to craft, we need you!"

Gift Shop:  Do you like to help someone find just the right purchase.  We have a very lovely gift shop at OPC filled with delightful merchandise had crafted by our talented seniors and we need skillful salespeople everyday from 8 - 4, A.M. & P.M. shifts are available.

Good Fellow Dolls:  Would you like to make a little girl jump for joy at Christmas.  OPC offers the Good Fellow dolls to be lovingly dressed for some little one that might otherwise not receive that special Christmas present.

Holiday Time:  Is another name for our Christmas extravaganza!  The Art & Crafts Department always has a wonderful bazaar.  We need sales people to sell the interesting Christmas products.

Lapidary:  Jewelry making at its best in the lapidary room of OPC.  If you have any silversmithing or gem background you might like to get involved as a teacher or teacher's aide.

Woodcarvers:  Can you make something fabulous out of a stick of wood?  Would you be willing to share your expertise with other seniors?  Perhaps this is the opportunity you have been waiting for!

Woodshop:  Do you like the smell of wood?  Every day at OPC we hear the sound of hammers and buzz saws.  Our woodworkers fill all the needs of the building with projects such as Holiday Time decor, and props for the Heart of the Hills productions.
