An opportunity to prevent premature or inappropriate institutionalization Drop-in Respite: Caregivers will now be able to participate in health and wellness plus enjoy programs offered at OPC due to a new service offered by the Dennis White Adult Day Service. Drop-in respite is now being offered to those caregivers who have been confined to home because a loved one must not be left alone. For a charge of $7.00 per hour, or a reduced rate based on ability to pay, your loved one will experience: -
A variety of appealing activities -
Meal and/or snack (if respite is used during this time.) -
Warm, inviting atmosphere -
Adequate space, furniture, equipment, indoors and out -
Social interaction -
Time out of the house for a change of scenery -
