COMPUTER CLUB: Join us here at the OPC each Tuesday for computer related presentations and discussions.
COMPUTER/PHOTOGRAPHY LAB : This is a great place for beginners.... Learn how to use that digital camera.
COMPUTER TUTORIAL: Though primarily for novices, this drop-in session is open to anyone, with anything, concerning computers.
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - ADVANCED : Join the gang to learn and talk about "cool" stuff you can do with a digital camera. This drop-in is for those already familiar with digital photography. If you're seeking a beginner program, please check out the Computer/Photography Lab which meets from noon to 2:00.

HOW TO BUY AND SELL ON EBAY:
HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR COMPUTER: Just like your automobile, your computer also needs maintenance.The instructor and will cover virus protection, software updates, disk cleanup, etc., etc. etc. This is an Intermediate level class.
HOW TO USE A SCANNER: Never used a scanner... this class is designed for for you. though you should be have basic computer skills.
HOW TO USE SEARCH ENGINES MORE EFFECTIVELY: Do you Google? If that term has you perplexed, then you need this class. If you already use search engines, this could improve your skills. Learn the newest Google features so that you can use it most effectively.
INTERNET INVESTMENT: This group meets twice a month to explore different online investment sites.
MAC ENTHUSIASTS: If you use a Mac or are just curious, join us in this drop-in group. Graphically speaking, this could open a whole new world for you.
OPC WEBSITE DESIGN AND SUPPORT: This group meets every Wednesday to update the OPC Website, www.opcseniorcenter.org. If you have basic computer skills and an understanding of the internet, come on in and join the team.
PICK A PROJECT: Is there a computer project that you want to do... but don't know how to start? Or maybe some specific computer questions? Then this is your class... but hurry as space is limited to 10 students. |

UNDERSTANDING IPODS AND MP3 PLAYERS: Learn to download music and other media to your Mp3 player, and how to use the device as a hard drive. This is a hands on class... Please bring your 'fully charged' player and your instruction manual.
WORD FOR BEGINNERS: If you've never used Word, or you've never had had much instruction in it's use... this is the class for you. Word is great for documents, charts, creating flyers, and lots more. Furthermore, it's very user friendly... once you have the basics. |
